Dr. Kenneth J. Ransonet

Chiropractor

Dr. Ken remembers going with his mother to see Dr. Vessels in Redlands, CA, a chiropractor and family friend. He smiles when he talks about adjustments he and his brother received, and how beneficial chiropractic care felt, even at the age of 7!

During his junior year of high school, young Ken experienced his “what am I going to be?” phase, and the soul search to find a career he could be passionate about led him to the answer - helping people! The question was “How?”

Dr. Ken realized the impact chiropractic treatment made in his life when his brother reminded him of how much Dr. Vessels had helped the family take care of their health through the years. At this moment, epiphany struck, and Dr. Ken knew exactly what he wanted to do! So, he took the first step and called a local chiropractic office and asked to shadow them for a day.

Dr. Ken walked into Redlands Chiropractic in his “Sunday’s best - shirt and tie, the whole nine” - and remembers with a chuckle how a doctor at the office smiled and playfully chided, ”you’re making us look bad.” He was drawn to the miracles he witnessed, and the down-to-earth, positive nature of the staff and doctors. He remembers vividly the patient’s faces and comments of gratitude as they walked out pain-free and smiling. This left a huge impression with young Ken, and it was that day that he decided he was going to be a chiropractor.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in exercise science at La Sierra University in Southern California, Ken was accepted to University of Western States in Portland, OR. He graduated in 2011 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and has been practicing ever since.

If you’ve ever met Dr. Ken, one of the first things you will notice is his smile. He is happy because he is doing what he loves - helping people. Dr. Ken practices several different techniques and loves to learn based on his motto - “the more tools on your belt the more people you can help.” He enjoys the challenge of getting patients to break free from pain and achieve their goals. He sees all types of patients, whether it’s a young athlete or a person dealing with arthritis in their later years. He never turns a patient away, and if he can’t help a patient for whatever reason, he knows exactly were to refer them to get the help they need.
